“G-O-A-L” Green & White striped Houston Hurricanes now scoring for Houston

“G-O-A-L” – Green and white horizontally striped Houston Hurricanes are now running fast across the fields of Houston’s Lutheran South Academy to score more goals than any other soccer team in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).

Under new management…Originally playing in the Astrodome from ’78 — ’80, Hurricanes FC was recently established in December 2012 as an NPSL relocated team, as team owner Brendan Keyes moved the Galveston Pirates from Galveston to Houston and rebranded them as Houston Hurricanes FC in the NPSL’s South Region-South Central Conference. “The Houston Hurricanes were always my first choice and dream name. I was with the Hurricanes back in my playing days,” says Keyes with a smile.
